With the financial support of UNDP 7 days sewing training and one sewing machine was provided to the women from the backward and very poor families of the society to become self-reliant
The program has enhanced the economic self-reliance of women from marginalized and extremely poor families by equipping them with practical sewing skills and providing essential tools to start their own income-generating activities. This support has enabled participants to contribute to their household income, reduce financial dependency, and improve their family’s standard of living.
Beyond economic benefits, the training has boosted their confidence, promoted gender empowerment, and created opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, fostering long-term resilience and social inclusion within their communities.
