The objective of the program is to enhance digital literacy and improve the employability of poor and underprivileged youth in Singra Upazila of Natore District by providing a free six-month basic computer training course to 60 selected participants each year. The program aims to equip them with practical skills in computer fundamentals, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, database management, digital content development, and introductory programming concepts such as Boolean algebra and logic gates. By building foundational ICT knowledge, the program supports inclusive development, reduces the digital divide, and prepares youth for employment, entrepreneurship, or further education, contributing to the vision of a Digital Bangladesh.
The program is expected to significantly improve the digital literacy, confidence, and employability of poor and underprivileged youth in Singra Upazila, enabling them to access better job opportunities, start small digital-based enterprises, or pursue higher education in ICT fields. By bridging the digital divide, it will empower participants to engage in the modern workforce, contribute to local economic growth, and break the cycle of poverty. Additionally, the skills gained will foster social inclusion, encourage innovation, and support the national vision of building a knowledge-based, technology-driven Digital Bangladesh
