BOOK DONATION PROGRAM FUNDED BY ASIA FOUNDATION

In August, 2013, Eakok Attomanobik Unnayan Sangstha in association with Media Communication Foundation (MCF) distributed 4000 books with free of cost to 20 academic institutions at Kalatiya High School Auditorium in Keranigonj Upazila of Dhaka district on behalf of The Asia Foundation Bangladesh. The purpose of the program is to ensure availability of quality books for teachers and students. The name of the school and college are:

The Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka attended as the Chief Guest in this event. Saima Anwer, Deputy Country Representative of The Asia Foundation and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mr. Babul Mia attended as special guests. Mr. Shahjahan Bhuiya, Chairman of Kolatia School Committee chaired the Program. Apart from Book donation program, students from Kolatia High School & Shubhaddya High School performed different cultural activities like, patriotic song, folk song, Brotochari dance, short drama of which theme was the barriers of girls face in the society.
